JAMIE QUINN

Jamie Quinn represents clients in internal investigations, inquiries by regulatory and enforcement authorities, and state and federal litigation. She regularly works with companies, directors, and officers to assess compliance with and resolve issues relating to potential violations of state and federal laws and regulations, with particular expertise in investigations and litigation related to securities laws and the False Claims Act.

Jamie brings tested advocacy skills and shrewd fact-finding instincts to her practice. When handling sensitive, multi-faceted investigations, she synthesizes complex laws, regulations, facts, and issues to identify clients’ potential exposure, then helps them develop mitigation and remediation strategies. Whether advising on compliance programs or advocating before enforcement agencies, she works to best position her clients for a favorable resolution—whether that be reaching an acceptable settlement, limiting testimony, or closing the inquiry.

Having spent most of her career serving clients in heavily regulated industries, including healthcare and financial services, Jamie can effectively balance an organization’s business needs with its legal risk and regulatory obligations. Clients appreciate her nuanced understanding not only of their business, but of their market position and regulatory environment—a perspective that allows her to align her approach with their long-term goals. Even in the most uncertain enforcement landscape, she provides pragmatic, forward-looking counsel on how companies can stay within regulatory bounds and manage legal risk without sacrificing the business.

Jamie invests substantial time and energy into her pro bono practice. As a proficient Spanish speaker, she has represented clients in immigration matters, working with them to obtain asylum, permanent residence, and citizenship. Jamie was also part of a team that spent several years advocating for an individual who had been sentenced to life without parole. Her team’s efforts—which were profiled by Litigation Daily—significantly downgraded the client’s sentence and ultimately opened the door to a parole hearing.
