GINA GUERRA
ASSOCIATE
Gina Guerra is a litigator who represents individuals and entities in complex commercial disputes and internal investigations. She has a two-decade-long history of attaining positive outcomes at every stage of litigation, at both the trial court and appellate levels. She has also successfully advocated for clients in alternative legal forums, including arbitration and mediation.
Clients facing threats to their rights and economic interests look to Gina for effective, results-oriented representation. Her practice encompasses a wide range of commercial legal challenges, ranging from securities violations to data security, unfair competition, copyright infringement, legal malpractice, labor and employment disputes, and general business disputes. She has led clients through all aspects of litigation, from the pleading and discovery stages through pre- and post-trial motions, trials, and appeals. In the investigative arena, she has conducted internal investigations involving significant interaction with corporate directors.
As a veteran of two Am Law 50 firms, Gina has handled critical cases and investigations for numerous high-profile clients. She pairs that experience with outstanding research, writing, and analysis skills to build winning strategies. No matter how large or complex the case, Gina quickly pieces together facts and identifies patterns, then constructs a strong narrative that resonates with judges and juries. The strength of her legal writing—in both dispositive motion practice and on appeal—helps clients reach cost-efficient resolutions, eliminating the need for further legal proceedings and keeping business moving forward.
During her time as a federal judicial clerk, Gina traveled with the court to serve on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth and Second Circuits, the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the District Court of the Virgin Islands in St. Croix.
Gina’s commitment to pro bono work has been commended by the Los Angeles County Bar Association. Her community engagements include service on the Boards of Directors of All for Kids and Hillsides in Pasadena, among other charitable organizations. She recently served as the president of the Pasadena Garden Club and currently holds national positions in the Garden Club of America in the Horticulture Judging Program and on the Horticulture Committee.
